The ECI is staff is prepared to assist families and children in need. Each position requires a trained expert in their field.

Early Intervention Specialist (EIS)

Professional occupational category established by ECI representing the discipline of early intervention.  Position requires a bachelor’s degree in child development, early childhood, social work, or related field.

Dietitian – L.D. /R.D.

Bachelor’s degree from approved accredited university in dietetics/Licensure through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Graduate degree in counseling or equivalent/Licensure through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors

Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR)

Bachelor’s or post graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program/Licensure through the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

Physical Therapist (LPT)

Degree from accredited physical therapy education program/Licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

Registered Nurse (RN)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program of professional nursing education/Licensure from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas

Social Worker (LBSW/LMSW)

Bachelors or Masters degree in social work from an accredited university/Licensure through the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited university-Licensure through the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
